GUNS & BUTTER: THE ART OF PUBLIC MANIPULATION

TO WHOEVER MAY READ THIS

I had to take responsibility for the energy that I was putting into the universe.

As an artist, I find that being able to freely practice self-expression is one of the most liberating feelings there is.

It wasn’t until recently that I truly began to embrace the term “artist.” Not only did I not feel qualified enough to uphold

that title but, I also thought that it sounded cliché and was another excuse for not having a “real” job.

As I have learned from my own personal experiences, when you’re too busy working for someone else you hardly have anytime to focus

on yourself. You start neglecting the very things that bring joy to your own life.

Ever since I was a child I’ve had this foolish idea that maybe I could change the world.

But, change starts within so... here we are.

For me, simply knowing that through visual art, I can somewhat change the way an individual perceives the world that they live in is a definitive sense of purpose.

I’m confident that you will enjoy the work as much as I did creating it.

Peace and Power,

LeXander Bryant
